Privacy Policy
Your books stay with you
InkFolio is built to keep reading private by default. This page explains what stays on your device, what may sync to cloud services, and how account-level features work.
What stays local
Uploaded PDF and EPUB files are intended to remain on your device. Local library state, cached pages, and most reading state live in browser storage such as IndexedDB.
What may sync
If you sign in, InkFolio may sync account details, reading progress, feature access, and book metadata. Synced metadata can include titles, timestamps, and progress markers, but not the raw file contents of your private books unless the product explicitly adds that capability later.
Analytics and diagnostics
InkFolio may use privacy-conscious analytics and operational logging to understand usage patterns, measure reliability, and diagnose failures. These tools should be configured to avoid collecting sensitive document contents.
Your choices
You can stop using the service at any time, clear local browser storage, and remove synced account data according to the account and support options made available in production.
